HOW DO I MAKE THE PERFECT ICED TEA?
Enjoying our delicious iced teas is simple - all you need is cold water, a (preferably reusable) bottle and one of our nifty teabags!
BREWING ON THE GO:
Step 1: Separate the tag from the teabag and pop the teabag into 500ml cold water. Take care to secure the tag to stop it from falling in your drink (but don't worry if it does - the inks are totally food safe, it's just more of a faff fishing them out of your bottle that way!).
Step 2: Pop the lid on your bottle, which will jam the string in place and hold it securely in place for you (the string’s nice and thin so it shouldn’t stop your bottle from sealing tightly). Leave to rest for a few minutes so the tea leaves can unfurl, and then gently swirl your bottle to release the flavour. Allow to brew for as long as you like – 5 minutes for a lighter flavour, 10 minutes + for a stronger one, whatever floats your boat.
Step 3: Use the tag to remove your teabag and enjoy the crisp, refreshing taste of your freshly brewed iced tea, safe in the knowledge that it’s all natural, sugar and calorie free. Feeling fancy? Why not pimp your drink with fresh fruit, add a wedge of lime or garnish with ice! Enjoy within 8 hours of brewing.
BREWING AT HOME:
Step 1: Grab a glass, separate the tag from the teabag and pop it into 500ml cold water, holding the tag against the outside of your glass to prevent it from dropping in.
Step 2: Leave to rest for a few minutes so the tea leaves can unfurl, and then use a spoon to give your drink a stir – still holding the tag in place. Leave to brew for as long as you like to get to your ideal flavour burst – minimum 5 minutes, maximum 8 hours!
Step 3: Remove the teabag using string and tag, and enjoy within 8 hours of brewing.
